Mactac to unveil durable film line at Labelexpo Americas

Mactac Printing Products will unveil a line of durable films at Labelexpo Americas on stand 143. Designed for long-term exposure to chemicals and extreme environmental conditions, the durable films are claimed to last the lifetime of end-use applications. The new product line has undergone rigorous testing to meet customer requirements for quality and durability and has earned recognition for meeting leading industry standards, such as Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 969 or British Standard 5609.
The company will show its InFusion hybrid adhesive system, claimed to offer converters increased through-put, fast and easy converting, improved die-cutting and superior matrix stripping. InFusion is available in a range of direct thermal and thermal transfer products featuring paper and film facestocks.
Mactac will display its Indie line of Rochester Institute of Technology-certified stocks for use on HP Indigo digital presses. Four of Mactac’s Indie products were recently certified for use with the HP Indigo WS6000. Available in a variety of finishes that include semi- and high-gloss, matte and bright silver, the Indie line includes a range of facestock options and customizable sizes suited to a variety of short-run applications.
Finally, the company will promote its ranges of pressure-sensitive materials and adhesives for the medical industry. Mactac’s offering includes products for diagnostic laboratory labeling applications, which are fade resistant, adhere without flagging and have excellent mandrel hold, as well as direct-to-skin application products, which are available in a variety of constructions and offer instant adhesion while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Mactac continues to expand its skin-friendly medical-grade adhesives product lines, Acrysure and Silk.
