Mark Andy launches VPM400 plate mounter

Mark Andy has introduced the VPM400, a new plate mounter aimed at offering converters high-quality video plate mounting technology at a cost-effective price. The new plate mounter has an enhanced verification capability thanks to its LED-lit dual cameras with a single split screen. Even greater accuracy is provided by plate cylinder mounting rails, and an adjustable mounting table that allows faster changeovers.

Jeff Feltz, director of product management at Mark Andy, commented: ‘We specifically focused on the user when we were developing the Mark Andy VPM400.  Efficiency and accuracy are key considerations for our customers and we feel this new plate mounter effectively addresses both of those requirements.’

In addition to enhanced accuracy, the the VPM400 plate mounter features a flat-screen monitor and is able to accommodate plate rolls up to 660mm (26in), making it a durable, robust complement to the complete line of workflow solutions provided by Mark Andy.
