Monotech Systems launches four digital label press models

The press portfolio has been developed to fit into every converter's budget and workflow, and also to meet current and future market opportunities. The company has more than a decade of inkjet expertise with an already existing globally successful press, Jetsci Colornovo, that was launched at Labelexpo India 2018. 

A basic configuration press starts from 225,000 USD. New presses include: 

Jetsci KolorSmart, a 4 or 5 color, 8.5in digital label press suitable for converters who want to move into digital with lower capital and/or use their existing converting and finishing equipment.

Jetsci KolorSmart+ is an advanced version of KolorSmart, with additional pre-inkjet flexo station with standard UV curing to apply primers, under white or spot colors.

Jetsci Colornovo Hybrid is an enhanced version of the Colornovo digital label press launched previously and based on GM (Grafisk Maskinfabrik) web control system. The press can be configured with 8.5 or 13in, 4 to 6 color UV inkjet, with spot registered flexo, cold foil, and lamination before UV inkjet and all UV curing systems are with chiller units.

Jetsci Colornovo Hybrid+ is configured digital label production press with additional finishing and converting features to Colornovo Hybrid, a flexo station with cold foil after UV inkjet, semi and full rotary die-cutting, slitting station and dual rewind.

All the models use inkjet printhead technology from Kyocera, providing and UV inkjet printing at 600 x 600 DPI resolution up to 3 or 4 drop grey scale at speeds of up to 50m/min, and the UV inkjet is configured with switchable inter-color pinning after each color and provided with advanced color management kit for best output in color matching, web cleaner, and corona treater.

Strengthening its product portfolio, Jetsci Global now covers the complete range of digital label production presses. Each model is upgradable in the field, so converters can start with a basic configuration and can upgrade later to any other model, thus saving on large capital reinvestments.
