Nuova Gidue unveils Combat M1 in India

Nuova Gidue showed a 370 mm wide Combat M1 for the self-adhesive labels market at Labelexpo India 2012, held in New Delhi, from October 29 – November 1.

The M1 is said to be reliable, efficient and easy to use. With a 370mm wide path, it is fully UV equipped, with eight colors and three servo-driven die cutting stations. It comes with cold-foil stamping application on a movable rail, the Gidue SnowBall waste-stripping technology for increased productivity and the new Bambi tool for improved efficiency. The printing machine requires almost no technical maintenance, guaranteeing a long-lasting printing quality and a precise register control.

Reifenhauser Marketing, Gidue’s Indian distributor, ran live demonstrations of the M1 on its stand.   Manish Mehta, managing director of Reifenhauser, commented: ‘This year the label show received good visitor response and visualized the introduction of many new products and technologies.
