Polyonics has tested and approved the XF-300 and XF-301 on glass slides and plastic vials in liquid nitrogen at -196 deg C (-320 deg F).

The XF-300 (2mm adhesive) and the XF-301 (1mm adhesive) are 5mm, woven nylon materials with a permanent pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and high opacity matte white color topcoat. The nylon adheres to vials, test tubes and other rounded surfaces due to its flexibility.

The two products are claimed to provide excellent chemical durability when exposed to harsh chemicals such as sulfuric acid solution, sodium hydroxide solution and mineral spirits. The XF-300 and XF-301 are designed for thermal transfer, dot matrix or write-on printing.

The XF-301 has been tested and recognized to meet UL969 and CUL standards.
