Primera launches RX-12 label rewinder

Primera Technology, a manufacturer of specialty printers, has launches its RX-12 label rewinder, aimed at rewinding large quantities of labels. It is suited to use with most thermal, thermal transfer or inkjet-based desktop label printers, including Primera’s own LX-Series.

With a 12” (305mm) diameter rewind capacity and 8.5” (216mm) maximum width, the RX-12 label rewinder features Primera’s EZ-Chuck mechanism, which securely locks the core onto the rewind mandrel.

’We’ve had demand from our customers for a heavy-duty, highly reliable yet affordable label rewinder,’ said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. ‘With RX-12 you can leave your printer running for hours at a time – even overnight. This is a faster, more efficient way to produce quantities of labels on a roll.’
