The SG112-ex is designed to save operators time and improve work efficiency. The printer uses thermal transfer and direct thermal printing in continuous or tear-off operation for a wide range of applications, including stock management, shipping labels and GHS labelling for chemicals.

The printer offers printing speeds up to 152mm/sec and up to 273mm width with intelligent control for fast, consistent throughput. It is equipped with a multi-language display for and is using several connectivity standards such as USB, LAN, IEEE1284 and RS-232C (9 pin).

With a print resolution of 305 dpi, the printer can also print a variety of linear barcode formats including UPC-A/E, JAN/EAN, Code128, Bookland, and ISBT 128 Industrial, as well as a wide spectrum of GS1 formats. Additionally, the SG112-ex enables high quality print of 2D intelligent coding formats such as QR and MAXICode and composite symbol data.

‘The SG112-ex represents a giant step forward in high resolution large format printing. With automatic label loading and durable design, the unit is ideal for applications such as pallet labelling where quality, accuracy and speed are paramount. We’re delighted to offer the SG112-ex to the European market. It’s an adaptable machine that brings practicality and value to each stage of the supply chain, offering real-time efficiency gains,’ said Detlev Muller, deputy managing director at Sato Europe.

The machine benefits from the SATO all-In-one tool feature, which simplifies its configuration and deployment, enables remote configuration of multiple units from a central location and consolidates many of the separate software utilities into one integrated application.
