Siegwerk to show UV inks at Labelexpo

Siegwerk has developed flexographic and screenprint inks for new UV technology employing LED-UV curing lamps, the new high-intensity semiconductor UV light source. The main advantages are said to be significant energy savings and elimination of any air exhaustion since no ozone is generated during the drying process.

Other innovations being shown by Siegwerk at Labelexpo Europe are the UV flexographic series Sicura Flex 39-8 and the UV offset series Sicura Plast LO.

For labels in the foodstuffs sector, Siegwerk is exhibiting a complete program of low migration inks that enable the printer to comply with the forthcoming regulations for food packaging.
