Sun Chemical launches narrow web inks

Sun Chemical, a manufacturer of printing inks and pigments, launched a number of new narrow web inks at Labelexpo Europe. 

SolarFlex Lightning White is a new ultra high opacity UV flexo white for maximum hiding power. It works well with high volume channeled and standard aniloxes. Smooth printing, wide-ranging adhesion and excellent printing receptivity combine for optimum first-down white, says the company. 

SolarFlex NovaSL is a low odor ink system based solely on Nestlé’s ‘Positive-list’ of photoinitiators and is claimed to feature excellent UV flexo performance properties for quick make-ready and efficient printing. 

SunCure Starluxeis a UV Offset product range designed to provide the highest print quality to labels and packaging. The series is said to offer reliable and robust press performance on a range of papers, plastics and metalized substrates. 

The SolarScreen Coloursrangehas been upgraded for higher speed rotary screen printing without loss of definition for increased productivity. A range of resistant colors, with an associated Pantone approved formulation guide, combine with Sun Chemical’s SolarScreen silicone-free and combination opaque whites.
