Sun Chemical will demonstrate its upgraded range of core products at Labelexpo Europe.

SolarFlex Nova is claimed to provide maximum cure efficiency and trouble-free printing. The ColorSat dispense system and its associated software automatically delivers accurate on-demand color. The silicone-free technology will also allow for easier post-print enhancements. The high color strength will allow the use of finer aniloxes for higher print definition, improved ink mileage and greater colour matching flexibility.

Suncure Starluxe is the latest UV offset product range. The upgraded system offers reliable press performance on a range of papers, plastics and metallized substrates at the highest print quality, says the company.

SolarScreen Whites have new silicone-free and silicone-containing products added to the range. The inks are claimed to provide faster cure speeds for increased productivity, greater flexibility to meet the extra demands set by thinner gauge substrates and greater receptivity to flexo, letterpress or offset inks when printed in combination.

Sun Chemical will also present low migration products for improved safety in food and pharma packaging as well as labels which enable narrow web printers to meet regulatory and brand owner demands for sensitive packaging applications.

SunCure FLM is a UV offset range of products designed to print on many substrates. This has been added to the SolarFlex LM range of low migration UV flexo products. Completing the package is a range of low migration coatings. Validated by independent laboratories and major food companies, these products provide the narrow web printer with the assurance that their product will meet the toughest migration specifications.

Products for high value decorative and security effect printing, including covert products for brand protection, will also be on display.

‘As the world’s foremost producer of inks, pigments and color technology, we continually push the limits of efficiency and strive to adopt the best operational practices to create value for our customers,’ said Jonathan Sexton, sales director – Screen and Narrow Web, Sun Chemical. ‘Sun Chemical will be showcasing this commitment at Label Expo through our range of solutions that are designed to cater for greater demands in the market for safer, more sustainable print solutions for labels and packaging.’
