Tharstern has launched Cloud MIS for label converting companies

Tharstern believes the roots of a print company lie with the concept of ‘Being Bionic’ – nurturing the human talent and investing in technologies and bringing the two together to create a successful business operation. Tharstern wanted to bring this into its new product and design an MIS that also contributes to the business culture.

The new Cloud MIS features various employee engagement tools such as the Tharstern Academy, a training program, which awards certifications and helps nurture personal development, a virtual noticeboard and regular feedback surveys to find out how employees are feeling and measure engagement levels.

Tharstern Cloud is built using an API First approach allowing label companies to synergize their MIS with other software applications to allow crucial data to be passed from one application to another at any level.

‘Tharstern Cloud isn’t just a web application migrated to a Cloud platform. It’s built on cloud-native technologies, which means as well as the obvious benefits such as remote working, mobility, and always being up-to-date, it also offers world-class security, availability, and almost unlimited scalability,’ commented Keith McMurtrie, CEO of Tharstern.

This product is initially available to the label sector, but over the coming months and years, the development will continue to make the product available for other print sectors, including flexible packaging, folding carton, and commercial products.
