UPM Raflatac launches label face for tire labeling

UPM Raflatac has launched its Silvertyre PP TC label face for tire labeling. The metallized film introduces new design capabilities for labeling the majority of standard car tires.

‘This top-coated polypropylene face has an excellent printability with good dimensional stability and register control,’ said the company in a statement. It is supplied with UPM Raflatac’s RHT tire adhesive. 

UPM Raflatac has published a new tire labeling brochure that brings together the product range, technical tuning options and information about the tire energy label according to Regulation (EC) No 1222/2009, which comes into force in 2012.
