UPM Raflatac unveils digital labelstocks

UPM Raflatac has launched a line of universal inkjet and LED toner-based labelstocks for print-on-demand applications in the Americas. The paper and film products dry instantly on printing presses, regardless of ink choice, enabling labelstock converters and brand owners to accelerate printing and increase operational flexibility.
UPM Raflatac offers over 15 different water-resistant papers and waterfast films that resist smudging, protecting label imagery throughout the product usage cycle, and are suitable for a variety of consumer, industrial and outdoor applications. These labelstocks, which are available in both matte and gloss finishes, provide aesthetic appeal for prime labeling applications and operational versatility for VIP end-uses. UPM Raflatac’s universal print-on-demand products can be printed via digital inkjet and toner-based machines; used for short and medium-sized runs; and run roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet.
‘UPM Raflatac’s new universal print-on-demand products provide labelstock converters and brand owners with a host of business benefits,’ said Linnea Keen, VIP business director, Americas, UPM Raflatac. ‘Customers can use these water-resistant papers and waterfast films to meet a wide array of prime and VIP labeling needs, while driving productivity and profitability to new levels.’
