Wausau Coated Products releases new label stock

Wausau Coated Products has launched black vellum pearlescent label stock to its wine and spirits product line. 

The product features a smooth opalescent finish and an elegant shimmer. The vellum finish can easily be embossed, foil stamped and die cut.

Black vellum pearlescent is FSC-certified and has wet strength properties for increased performance in moist environments. 

According to Adam Frey, business manager of roll products, the product offers an interesting twist on the trend for black paper. 

‘By adding a pearlized effect we created a one-of-a-kind product that will provide a unique label for brands,’ Frey said.
