New time-temperature indicator from Ciba Specialty Chemical

Ciba Specialty Chemicals and FreshPoint will present a new time-temperature indicator system at Anuga FoodTec fair in Cologne from April 4-7.

OnVuTM, a new time-temperature system for indicating the freshness of perishable goods, will be introduced by the companies at stand A 050 in Hall 6 of the Anuga event.

The company said in a statement: ‘OnVuTM time-temperature indicators allow producers, retailers and consumers to check at a glance whether perishable products have been correctly supplied and stored. The indicators are available as labels or as inks for printing on packaging. OnVuTM helps to strengthen brand reputation, enhance consumer convenience and confidence, and optimize shelf life.’
