French packaging producer Next Flexible has purchased a Comexi Flexo F2 water-based ink printing system for its Clair'embal facility in Soyaux.

The Comexi Flexo F2 allows printing with water-based inks at high speeds, on both sides of the substrate, while maintaining the impression quality of the Comexi Flexo F2 printing system.

Next Flexible is a specialist in the fabrication of printed packaging in high-definition flexography, and operates with six printing systems and 20 processing lines across the Clair'embal site in Soyaux and Datys in Velluire.

The business relationship between Comexi and Clair'embal commenced in the 1970s, and since then the French company has acquired more than 25 pieces of equipment from Comexi.

The new Comexi Flexo F2 purchased for the Clair'embal manufacturing site will be the second printing system adapted to Comexi’s water-based inking system following a similar system purchased in 2009.

It was this 10-color water-based ink printing system that led Next Flexible to acquire another utilizing this technology for the Clair'embal facility, Comexi said.
