Nilpeter to show FB-3300 at Graphispag

At Graphispag, taking place in Barcelona on February 19-25, Nilpeter will feature the FB-3300, a narrow web flexo press with modular print units for producing many types of pressure-sensitive labels and film-based packaging. 

The company said in a statement: ‘Like all FB-Line presses, the FB-3300 has been redesigned to include servo drives to complement the ergonomically designed print units. These offer fast set-up adjustments and rapid anilox roll changes for increased productivity. Helical gearing on the print cylinder drives, plus the instant register response system, result in good print quality and low wastage.

‘Options include running with one or more interchangeable screen process modules and a hot foil module. The modules are based on Nilpeter’s exclusive drop-In technology, which allows converters to increase printing options at an affordable price.’

Presses in the FB-Line are available with a choice of hot air dryers or UV-curing. The series comprises the FB-2500 with a maximum web width of 273 mm (10 3/4 inches), the FB-3300 with a maximum web width of 350 mm (13 3/4 inches), and the FB-4200, with a maximum web width of 425 mm (16 3/4 inches). A top speed of 228 m/minute (750 feet/ minute) makes the FB-Line series of presses ‘among the fastest of their type in the industry’.
