Omet, Roland DG and Paragon receive industry awards

The Label Industry Global Awards were presented at a ceremony on the first night of Labelexpo Americas 2010.  

Terry Fulwiler of WS Packaging received the R. Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award, as previously announced.  

The Label Industry Award for Continuous Innovation was presented to Italian press manufacturer Omet. Runners up were Collano, Tailored Solutions and Xeikon.  

Roland DG Corporation won the Label Industry Award for New Innovation for its wide format VersaUV printer-cutter. Cerm, Gallus and Primera Technologies had also been nominated. 

The Converter Award for Sustainability/Environmental Responsibility was won by Paragon Label. Other nominees for the award were Spear, Specialty Printing and Vintage 99 Label Manufacturing.
