Omet secures two Flexy sales in The Netherlands

The sale of two Omet narrow web Flexy 420 presses to one of Holland’s leading label converters, aL Printing, is confirmation of the Italian manufacturer’s ‘best combination of price and value’, according to the customer.

The Omet Flexy lines, one 4-color and one 9-color, have been chosen to manufacture self adhesive, in-mold, and unsupported film labels by aL Printing, which employs over 80 staff, and is now in its third generation of ownership and management.

According to a spokesman for aL Printing: ‘We preferred the Omets to other Italian built narrow web presses in use here because of their superior reliability, technology and flexibility, which allows them to produce labels, plastic film for packaging and light cardboard boxes.’ 

Ergonomic features that make the Flexy easy to handle include the single sliding console, and removable and interchangeable ink cartridges that speed up job changes.
