Omet UK agent forges alliance for flexo packaging
Omet’s UK and Eire agent M M Digital has formed a sales and marketing alliance with Pomeroy Plastotype with a particular focus on developments in unsupported films, shrink sleeves and cartons.
In a statement, the companies said, ‘The high quality of flexo printing coupled to advanced press developments has now reached a stage where applications in a wide variety of packaging products are setting new challenges, and where the joint experience of both Omet and Pomeroy Plastotype can be maximised.’
Pomeroy Plastotype is one of the UK's best known press sundries suppliers, and can draw on expertise which goes back as far as 1942 when Plastotype was formed. The acquisition of Plastotype by Pomeroy in 1996 created what is now a leading partner in both the litho and flexo sectors of the market.
Plastotype also offers a full range of photopolymer platemaking equipment, plates and washout chemistry, and has specialists to carry out press fingerprints, machine and plate audits and training.
