Paragon choose Prism eService Desk

Paragon Print and Packaging have begun the implementation of the Prism WIN eService Desk module at their Spalding, Lincolnshire, UK, offices. John Gibson of Paragon made the decision following his visit to IPEX 2006, during which they were able to view the latest version of Prism’s ecommerce offering.

Paragon Print and Packaging is the UK market leader in fresh food packaging, and the fastest growing independent packaging supplier to the fresh chilled food sector in the UK and Europe.

Paragon offers seven manufacturing sites across the UK producing self-adhesive labels, films, sleeves and cartons and all seven sites have been using Prism WIN for their MIS requirements. ‘With an increasing demand from our large customer base to provide on-demand production and stock information we naturally turned to Prism to provide the answer to this customer-driven need,’ said John. ‘The decision to go with eService Desk was made easy, because, unlike stand-alone ecommerce systems, Prism gives direct access in real time across all relevant MIS modules.’

eService Desk will provide Paragon’s customers with:

 Secure access to print job data - including recent quotes, orders and jobs in progress
 Online viewing of finished goods inventory levels showing current stock, in production and back order quantities
 Allows customers to view invoices and payments
 Customizable design for corporate branding

Paragon will begin by providing the eService desk benefits to key customers, and then intend to roll it out to their entire 1200 strong customer base.
