AD Communications appoints packaging market specialist
Specialist international technology agency AD Communications has reinforced its presence in the global packaging sector with the appointment of sector specialist Rosemary Alton to the role of account director.
Rosemary has developed her expertise in the packaging technology and services sectors over 17 years in the industry. Since October 2003 she has fulfilled the role of group PR manager for Romaco, a Business Unit of NYSE-listed Robbins & Myers, Inc., with responsibility for internal and external communications, working in co-operation with the Group Marketing Manager in Switzerland and product specialists worldwide. Rosemary joined AD Communications in June and is managing an international client portfolio including Romaco, which she brings with her to the agency.
Agency director Helen Tolino commented: ‘The packaging market has a great many synergies with our traditional graphic arts market. The supply chain is complex and globalize, it’s an ultra-competitive service provider community, the market is increasingly driven by the demands of the corporate brand owner for consistency and just-in-time delivery at low cost, and digital technology is facilitating change and revolutionizing the sector.’
Rosemary’s appointment demonstrates AD Communications’ commitment to building an experienced team of PR practitioners who can provide the same quality of service to packaging clients for which the agency is renowned in the print sector. AD Communications’ credentials as a consultancy to the packaging sector already include retained work for Artwork Systems, Avery Dennison, Domino Printing Sciences plc, FESPA and Kodak.
