ARC appoints international staff to boost global membership
Trade association adds UK-based business development director and member engagement manager.

The Association for Roll-to-Roll Converters (ARC) has appointed two new staff members to expand its international reach and enhance member services, with Simon Cheung joining as business development director in the UK and Katherine Dickson becoming member engagement manager.
Cheung brings experience from his role as sales manager at E+R Group (Emerson and Renwick), where he worked in equipment engineering and manufacturing for roll-to-roll production machinery. His appointment aims to recruit new international members and strengthen connections between converters, suppliers and academic partners across Europe.
'As business development director, my objective is to bring more voices and perspectives into ARC, creating new networking and learning opportunities for every member, no matter where they are located,' commented Cheung.
He will represent ARC at The Battery Show in Detroit, Michigan, from October 6-9.
Dickson will focus on member retention through personalized support, communication and guidance on maximizing membership benefits.
'My goal is to be a true resource for ARC members,' noted Dickson. 'That means helping members make the most of networking, education and committee participation, while also listening closely to what matters most to them.'
ARC president Bob Pasquale, who also serves as senior vice president of technology at New Era Converting Machinery, added: ‘With Simon driving global outreach and Katherine deepening engagement, our members will benefit from expanded opportunities to connect internationally and receive stronger support across the association. Both hires align with our mission to advance the roll-to-roll industry by expanding our membership while building a vibrant, well-connected community.’
ARC executive director Chris Kerscher, noted: ‘ARC is growing right alongside our members. By expanding our team and extending our reach globally, we are helping converters, suppliers, and academic partners from every region connect, collaborate, and innovate. Roll-to-roll technology touches so many essential industries, from packaging to energy storage to healthcare. Together, we are building a stronger global community to support the future of converting.’
