Avery Dennison has new external communications

Avery Dennison has braced its European communications team, based in Leiden, the Netherlands, with the appointment of Thurstan Robinson to external communications.

Robinson will be responsible for developing and implementing external communications programs to support Avery Dennison’s business-to-business operations. In particular, he will be working closely with Avery Dennison’s customers and other interest groups, including the media.

Robinson joins Avery Dennison from his position as VP corporate communications for Getronics NV. Trained in the UK and the Netherlands, he has a background in corporate and marketing communications, media relations, strategic planning and change management. A citizen of the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Thurstan lives in the Netherlands, and is fluent in Dutch and English. In addition to his commercial experience, he worked as an academic for several years, and holds a Doctorate in archaeology from Oxford University.
