Effective September 1, Marcello Di Giacomo will take over responsibility for the management of Cham Paper Group’s site at Carmignano, Italy, and will become a member of the company’s management team. Since 1 December 2011, the site has been run by the CEO, Peter Studer, as a temporary measure.

Marcello Di Giacomo, an Italian national who was born in 1962, joins the Cham Paper Group from Kimberly-Clark Italy, where he is currently responsible for managing one of the company’s Italian sites.

He is said to have a profound knowledge of the paper sector and to possess substantial experience in corporate management, acquired in various European countries.
