DataLase strengthens team following US expansion
DataLase (formerly Sherwood Technology), originators of the award-winning DataLase process, has announced the appointments of Chuck Pemble (left of picture) as national sales manager for USA and Mike Sorvino (right of picture) as laser product manager. Sorvino will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Within his new role, Pemble’s responsibilities include providing strategic input for DataLase’s growth within the USA and he will also be instrumental in the sales growth of the company’s product offerings and development in the US market. Sorvino joins the team in the new office as a technical expert responsible for advising customers on technical queries regarding the DataLase technology while a key part of his role will be to advise and specify correct DataLase process and laser system for each application.
Pemble brings to DataLase a wealth of experience, having previously held various positions including national account manager, national sales manager and distribution manager for 12 years at Domino Amjet Inc., a global manufacturer of laser ink jet marking systems. Here he was also part of the management team responsible for the short and long term business strategies for the US market. In his role with Domino Amjet Inc., Pemble developed business relationships with global manufacturers in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries as well as emerging sectors.
Sorvino’s experience extends to the food and beverage packaging industry, where he held various positions including machine design, product development and project management. In his role, Mike provided expertise in the design and development of machines for the packaging and food and beverage sectors.
