Digitalabel hires national product & sales manager

Peter Schambs has joined Digitalabel as its national product and sales manager, calling on manufacturers and purchasers of customized, short-run labels for retail packaging projects.

Drawing from 20 years of printing, packaging and labeling industry experience, Schambs has managed labeling and packaging projects for such national retail products giants as American Greetings, Ashland-Valvoline, Borden, Eagle Family Foods, JM Smucker Company, Nestle, Philip Morris, and Procter & Gamble. Throughout the past decade, he has developed an expertise in labeling for regulated products such as tobacco, nutritional content and pharmaceuticals requiring maximum efficiency, high quality and total accuracy.

Most recently, Schambs was responsible for new business and project management at Gamse Lithographic Company. His extensive career also includes managerial and sales positions with M.A.L. Systems, Northstar Print Group, Smyth Companies, CCL Label, MPI Label Company, Tape & Label Engineering Company, Grand Rapids Label Company, and Avery Label Company.
