FLAG appoints VP of new member development

Flexo Label Advantage Group (FLAG), a support organization for independent label converters, has appointed Peter Spain as vice president of new member development.

Spain will be responsible for all initiatives focused on expanding FLAG converter membership and awareness within the narrow web converter industry. John McKay, president and CEO of FLAG, said, ‘Peter brings to FLAG the industry knowledge, contacts and client focused energy that we are known for and our membership expects’.

For the past two decades, Spain has helped narrow web converters adopt new technologies and processes in his sales and management roles at Esko and Pitman. He added, ‘FLAG brings to the marketplace the necessary link that is missing today between vendors and narrow web converters.  The opportunity to educate and help our members increase their profitability with FLAG membership is unreal.’
