Gerhardt appoints new technical directors

Gerhardt have announced that Roger Stebbings has joined the group as group technical director, flexible dies, with effect from July 3 2006. At the same time Bo Meyer has been moved to group technical director for solid dies.

‘With forty years industry experience between them Gerhardt now has an outstanding team providing technical and product leadership to the entire industry,’ said the company in a statement.

Having spent the last 12 years working for Kocher and Beck in a similar capacity, Roger Stebbings brings with him 23 years experience in the industry. He has an outstanding in-depth knowledge of the flexible die business, both technically and commercially, and has high hopes for what he will achieve: ‘Combining my experience, Gerhardt’s current global position in the industry I am confident we will become the leading supplier of flexible dies to the converting industries.’

At the same time Bo Meyer has been appointed group technical director, solid dies. Bo has 17 years of experience with Gerhardt International, where he has gained a strong technical knowledge of the companies solid die products and of customer’s applications.

Bo will assume responsibilities similar to Roger’s within the solid die aspect of our business, allowing him to concentrate on developing outstanding new products for the industry.
