Herma announces appointments within its sales organization

Herma has announced further extensions to its sales organization.

Jens Glatz, account manager for Austria, Scandinavia and South America

Jens Glatz has been named account manager for customers in Austria, Scandinavia and South America – with the support of local partners in some cases. He will be based at the company headquarters in Filderstadt, Germany.

Before joining Herma, Glatz accumulated several years of sales experience with a German label producer. He is a qualified industrial and business administrator.

In Girona near Barcelona, Alberto Pons has been appointed commercial agent for Spain. Herma's customers on the Iberian Peninsula now have access to a dedicated local partner and exclusive distributor of Herma self-adhesive materials. 

Pons also has many years of experience in the industry. He has been working in the self-adhesive technology segment since 1996, most recently as international sales manager for a well-known global manufacturer of self-adhesive products.

‘Given their track records in the industry, both Jens Glatz and Alberto Pons are very familiar with our customers' requirements and challenges,’ commented Herma managing director Dr Thomas Baumgärtner.

‘In view of Herma's commitment to outstanding service quality and short response times, their project management experience is especially valuable to us. They are now providing us with support in markets that harbor huge potential.’

Highlighting that Herma's self-adhesive materials division is already generating around two-thirds of its revenues in Europe (excluding Germany), Baumgärtner continued: ‘We intend to post further significant growth in the international markets.’
