KBA UK adapts to changing market
- Andrew Pang returns as KBA UK divisional director

- Move follows establishment of Approved Consumables division

Andrew Pang has returned to his post as KBA UK’s director of service and sheet-fed presses following the successful establishment of the company’s Approved Consumables division.

KBA UK said the move is a reaction to the changing marketplace.

Pang said: ‘Service, like consumables now needs to be tailored to the requirements of each user. Every KBA press is built to the exact specification of the buyer so there is now no such thing as standard.’

Klaus Loch retains responsibility for service of web presses and takes on a support role for the metal decoration and air purification sectors, while Stephanie Nicklin will lead the Approved Consumables team.

Pang added: ‘We have appointed new service account managers to support a proactive strategy towards service that includes a schedule of flexible packages from basic breakdown cover to all-inclusive extended warranty programs.’

Another customer support initiative in the UK is KBA’s new Technical Print Resource, which offers expertise in, for example, the ISO 12647-2 color standard.
