Leicester-based self-adhesive label printer, Label Apeel has made two new appointments to its sales team.

Michelle Kellock joins the family business as sales manager. She will work alongside husband and managing director of Label Apeel, Stuart Kellock, to cover Amy Chambers’ maternity leave until spring 2014. Michelle has over 14 years experience working in secondary education as a science teacher, faculty head and assistant principle. Her science background, mixed with her people and management skills is said to make her ‘a natural fit for managing the sales team’.

Kate Morris has been appointed as sales executive, focusing on the personal care market. Morris previously worked as a support worker and is said to have excellent interpersonal skills with a keen and calm, down-to-earth approach to selling.

Stuart Kellock commented: ‘It is great have two new additions to the team. Michelle obviously knows the family business inside out. However, is still able to provide a fresh pair of eyes and ears on making improvements and adding creative input.  Her experience juggling budgets and managing teams are crucial to her new role. We’re also delighted to welcome Kate onboard. She’s focusing on developing our personal care offering and has hit the ground running making headway with several new clients already. We’re looking forward to helping existing and new clients maximize the power of their packaging and labels.’

Michelle Kellock added: ‘I’ve been looking for a new challenge and this is perfect. It’s exciting to be working alongside Stuart and such a talented team.’
