Lynda Purser: Chief executive The Institute of Packaging (IOP)

Lynda Purser replaces John Webb-Jenkins as chief executive of the IOP in the UK, in preparation for his retirement.

‘Lynda brings her vast experience of the strategic management of education and training for industry and the community, as well as strong relationship skills with government and education providers,’ says John Bence, chairman of the board of trustees. ‘This expertise will prove crucial as the institute continues to develop its role as the pre-eminent provider of packaging training and education.’

Webb-Jenkins will retain the post of managing director of IOP Services Ltd and take on the role of director of external relations until his retirement.
