Mark Andy expands management team in Europe

Mark Andy has announced two new appointments at its Swiss office in Basel. Dieter Huck has been promoted to chairman of Mark Andy Europe, and Remy Hhener has been appointed European managing director.

As chairman, Huck will work with Mark Andy’s board of directors to set the vision for future growth in Europe. His expertise will be important to continuing overall operations throughout the continent. His focus will be on building the business management processes that a large organization needs to build incremental growth.

‘Strong European growth encouraged us to increase our presence in Europe by opening our Advanced Technology Centre in Basel earlier this year,’ said Paul Brauss, CEO of Mark Andy Inc.  ‘This will allow us to increase our presence throughout the continental markets, including those in Eastern Europe and Russia.’

As European managing director, Remy Hhener, who is a Swiss native, brings experience from the industrial electronic industry which included global operations management in the USA, Europe and Asia. Hhener will lead the company’s new focus in Europe through Mark Andy’s offices in the UK, France and Switzerland.
