MPS Systems appoint international sales manager

MPS Systems has appointed Erik Blomjous as international sales manager.

After studying mechanical engineering and business administration, Erik started his professional carrier in 1989 at the Graphics department of Stork, the Dutch manufacturer of Rotary Screen Printing machines. He had numurous positions in the narrow web flexo printing industry.

Erik also worked as business development manager for Sara Lee Company. For a period of six years he has been responsible for market introductions and sales of various beverage systems in the Asian region.

Erik moved to the Directorate-General for Innovations of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs in early 2002. He was appointed Attach for Science & Technology at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo. During his four-year stay in Japan, Erik mainly promoted technical and scientific exchange and co-operation between companies in the Netherlands and Japan.
