New business development manager for SATO Asia Pacific

SATO Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of Mr Simon Tang as the new senior business development manager. Mr Tang will be responsible for the continued development and growth of channel business within the Asia Pacific.

Mr Tang will focus on securing new distributor and business partner agreements and working with existing SATO distributors and business partners to offer new DCS (data collection systems) and labeling solutions.

Prior to joining SATO Asia Pacific, Mr Tang spent seven years with Zebra Technologies Asia Pacific, LLC, located in Singapore. Previously, Mr Tang served three years in Datamax Asia Pacific Representative Office in Singapore.

Mr Lim Yee, managing director of SATO Asia Pacific, commented, ‘With his many years of industry and printer experience in Asia Pacific, Simon will add valuable experience and knowledge to our SATO Asia Pacific team.’
