New finance director at Nilorn

Label and branding specialist Nilorn UK has appointed Karen Hutchinson as its new finance director.

Hutchinson was previously employed as the plant controller at IAC, one of Europe’s largest automotive companies, at its plant in Lincolnshire and prior to that headed up a Danish furniture manufacturing and retailing company whose UK base was in Dewsbury.  

‘The Danish company was very big on design and branding concepts, so there are many parallels with Nilorn,’ said Hutchinson. ‘I have tended to join companies as they are starting a period of significant change and have helped to re-structure systems in line with a new outlook. Steve Ablett has only recently been appointed as MD and is looking at moving the business forward and I am delighted to be a part of that.’
