Nipson appoints new sales manager

Duncan Sargeant has been appointed as new sales manager of Nipson UK, the York-based producer of high-speed digital printing systems. He will lead the sales of the company’s existing and future products. He will focus on building the existing business relationships as well as new business development within the UK and Ireland.

Sargeant previously worked for Domino Printing Sciences, a manufacturer of industrial inkjet, laser, thermal transfer and outer case coding printing systems. He was responsible for sales of Domino digital printing products via distributors in Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and the Asia Pacific region. He has also worked for Punch Graphix, manufacturer of digital presses, where he was responsible for the sale of digital printers into the UK and Ireland.

Sargeant commented: ‘I believe that the combination of the existing and new products will enable Nipson to be a serious player in the high volume digital print market. The company’s reputation was well known to me as I have worked for Nipson before. I am delighted to have the opportunity to join Nipson again at such an exciting time.’
