ODIN technologies, a leader in the physics of RFID deployments, testing, and optimization software, has announced the recent hire of Ted Milone as federal practice director. Mr Milone comes to ODIN technologies after serving in BearingPoint's Health Services as a United States Department of Defense Healthcare account leader. Earlier in his career Mr Milone served for six years as a United State Air Force Officer.

Patrick J. Sweeney II, [resident & CEO of ODIN technologies, commented, ‘We are extremely excited about Ted joining the ODIN team to focus on our rapidly expanding work for government, aerospace and defense clients. Ted's Air Force and business experience will be a true asset enabling an even higher level of service to our largest customers. He is already making an impact helping steer ODIN's deployment of RFID at 26 US Department of Defense sites worldwide. Ted's program management, government and military background are a perfect fit for our client needs because he has been there before.’

In his new role, Mr Milone will be responsible for leading government, aerospace and defense client activities, establishing industry specific RFID solutions, and positioning ODIN as the Federal Government's most trusted RFID expert. At BearningPoint, Mr Milone demonstrated success in delivering several complex multi-million dollar projects and CMM initiatives for his team. Prior to BearningPoint and immediately following his Air Force service, Mr Millone worked in project management with government contractor Robbins-Gioia. He is a graduate of the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.

Mr Milone commented, ‘As a former Air Force Officer, I understand the challenges of military logistics and large scale program management faced by government and military organizations. I am intrigued by ODIN technologies, because it is a company that is actually getting things done efficiently to help improve Department of Defense operations. When deployed properly, RFID has tremendous positive impact on operational efficiency, directly impacting the capabilities of the US warfighter. ODIN was the only company I saw leveraging radio frequency physics and proven methodologies to quickly deploy accurate RFID networks. I am looking forward to bringing that same expertise to bear to a growing roster of government, aerospace and defense clients.’
