In response to continued growth in the Printing, Coating & Laminating (PCL) division at Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), global sales director Mark Gillis has announced the promotions of Andy Gillis and Mike Reedy to product development managers.

In their new roles, Gillis will be responsible for PCMC’s Mid & Narrow Web PCL product lines, while Reedy will focus on Wide Web PCL machinery for applications 40 inches and wider.

‘These individuals have been selected because of their leadership experience and capabilities, as well as their demonstrated ability to contribute to the company’s success in meaningful ways,’ said Mark Gillis, who recently assumed expanded responsibility as global sales director for both the PCL and Nonwovens Converting divisions. ‘The passion and energy Andy and Mike bring to their work is commendable.’

As product development managers, in addition to working directly as active sales executives for assigned customers and territories, Gillis and Reedy will be the product experts for the assigned product lines and will act as product consultants to other sales executives by helping teach and implement value-driven sales tactics.

In their respective positions, Gillis and Reedy will define the ongoing competitive landscape, market-level pricing and PCMC market position. They will outline, justify and assist in plans for commercializing new products that will grow annual revenues. They will also recommend strategic direction for the product lines and assist with account and territory assignment.
