Pitman appoints new VP of sales

Pitman Company, the independent North American graphic arts supplier, has named Dave Wilkins as the vice president of sales. The position was held by Peter Moore, who the company has announced will be assuming the position of Pitman president on March 31, 2009.

Peter Moore said, ‘Pitman is very fortunate to have within its ranks the talented people who can implement a planned and orderly succession plan. Dave, who is currently the district sales manager in the southeast, has done an outstanding job and is ready to move into the national position of VP sales.’

Wilkins, who has been with Pitman since 1999, has served the company in various sales management positions.  A thirty-year industry veteran, Wilkins has held management positions with Intergraph Corporation and Gerber Scientific Company.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Miami.
