Resource Label closes Franklin facility

Sixty-eight jobs lost as Tennessee plant shuts by November.

Resource Label has filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, confirming the permanent closure of its facility on Seaboard Lane in Franklin, Tennessee, affecting 68 employees.

Layoffs are expected to begin on October 3, 2026 and continue through November 11, with the closure expected to be completed by November 25. The company notified the state on August 3.

The closure comes several months after Resource Label Group appointed new leadership in February 2026, with Rose Lee named executive chair and CEO, Erik Duloisy as chief operations officer and Bob Gold as interim chief financial officer. Lee said at the time that the company's priority was operational discipline and strengthening the business for the long term. The appointment followed the departure of several senior leaders, including former CEO Mike Apperson.

The Northern Middle Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team will work with the employer and affected employees to provide reemployment assistance.
