Scandstick A.B. appoints Inger Karlsson as sales office manager

Scandstick A.B., European laminators of self-adhesive label materials, has appointed Inger Karlsson as sales office manager at its Helsingborg headquarters.

Inger has over 30 years experience within the narrow-web and sheet-fed label industry. In her new role, Inger will be providing technical and application advice and day-to-day support to European customers outside the UK. She joins from a long and distinguished career at Avery Dennison, during which time she has gained expert knowledge in every possible self-adhesive application area.

Initially as customer sales representative for the company’s roll label, tape and large-format graphics divisions in Sweden, she was responsible for customer training, in addition to sales support.  Then, as service manager for Scandinavia, heading the company’s regional sales group, she implemented a number of efficiency drives, including the upgrading of software for database systems.

‘A successful sales role is all about understanding the customer’s needs, and fast communication,’ commented Inger. ‘In this market above all, that’s how we come up quickly with new opportunities that help customers build their own business. I am delighted to be part of a fast growing company and am relishing the opportunity to work closely with Scandstick’s label converters across Europe.’

Inger’s appointment comes as the company makes significant plant investments in both Helsingborg and the UK, with the aim of boosting capacity and service to customers across Europe. The company has strengthened its research and research team also, with the appointment of new technical staff at its Helsingborg plant.
