Vibrant Graphics names new production control manager

US-based converter Vibrant Graphics has promoted Alex Dott to the position of production control manager.
He will take responsibility of directing workflow throughout the plant and for optimizing the entire workflow through continuous improvement processes. Dott will also supervise the overall production planning and forecasting of all materials. As well as directly supervise the pre-press team, maintain positive working relationships between the sales team and customers, and develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
‘We have impressed our customers with our responsive, flexible and reliable service, and we are committed to keep it at that high level in future,’ Roger Wrass, general manager, said. ‘In his new position Alex will be responsible for providing the leadership, coaching, team development and project management. I am confident that he will inspire our team to achieve on an even higher level.’
Before his promotion, Dott served the company as pre-press and design team leader. He is said to have been influential in solidifying Vibrant Graphics’ excellent record of customer relations, problem resolution, and on-time customer delivery. In his new position, he will oversee the entire production process.
Dott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor’s in graphic design. He joined Vibrant Graphics in 2008, and helped the company win the award for best self-promotional printing in the annual HP Indigo Digital Labels and Packaging Awards Contest in 2010.
