Plastic Suppliers receives FTA environmental excellence award

Plastic Suppliers, Inc. won the FTA’s Environmental Excellence Award in the category of Innovative Technology for its EarthFirst PLA film product.

The company will receive the award at the FFTA Annual Forum in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, in early March 2006.

 EarthFirst PLA film is made from corn, a sustainable resource. This film is environmentally friendly, compostable, and does not rely on oil as a resource. The film is currently used in the packaging, label, and envelope markets.
