Kodak has signed a distribution agreement with Jet Europe for its Flexcel NX digital flexographic systems, including hardware and consumables. Jet Europe, with presence in almost every European country, was selected by Kodak for its ‘strong position in the flexographic market’.

Harry Heesen, managing director, Jet Europe, said: ‘Our flexo printing customers are continually striving to achieve consistently top-quality results, while at the same time reduce waste and manufacturing costs. When preparing flexo plates, three factors have been proven to help achieve these goals – 1:1:1 image reproduction from file to mask to plate; flat top dot technology; and surface pattern innovations that enhance ink transfer from plate to substrate. Kodak Flexcel NX System technology excels in these three areas.

‘Partnering with an industry-leading company like Kodak is a huge boost to our flexographic portfolio, and ensures our customers continue to have fast access to the latest packaging print innovations.'

Grant Blewett, sales manager, packaging, Kodak, said: ‘Jet Europe is the ideal distributor for our Flexcel NX systems. The company has an excellent reputation in the flexographic market across the continent. The partnership puts us in immediate reach of packaging printers in the region, who are set to enjoy significant commercial and environmental benefits afforded by Flexcel NX System technology.’
