Polyonics wins SBA Exporter Champion Award
Polyonics, a manufacturer of harsh environmental labels and product marking for industrial identification, has been selected as the 2005 US Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Exporter Champion Award winner. Polyonics will receive the award at a ceremony scheduled for the end of April, in Washington, D.C.
“We are very honored to receive this recognition”, said Dr Jim Williams, Polyonics’ founder and chairman. “The best-kept secret for small business export assistance is the Department of Commerce Commercial branch at each of our embassies and consulates globally. They help reduce the cost and risk of introducing products ‘made in the USA’ into foreign markets. If Polyonics can compete globally, I believe any small business with drive and vision can too.”
National Small Business Week recognizes outstanding small business owners, for their personal achievements and contributions to the US economy. There are approximately 23 million small businesses in America, which represent more than 99 percent of all employers, provide 75 percent of the net new jobs and generate a majority of American innovations.
