PrisymID celebrates record first year for Sri Lanka office
The Sri Lankan office of PrisymID has just celebrated its first birthday. In the last twelve months, the company’s Sri Lankan facility has achieved over 1million worth of sales.
Situated near the capital Colombo, the 2,200sq ft facility provides clothing label printing services to the apparel and textile industry, including local Marks & Spencer’s suppliers as well as those for other leading retail chains.
Luvi Seimon, sales director of PrisymID Sri Lanka, enthused: ‘The Sri Lanka office has been an enormous success, having exceeded all targets and expectations. Since we opened here a year ago with six staff, we have achieved approved supplier status to a number of leading retail chains including Tesco, increased our production capacity and now employ a team of 23 experienced staff.’
As a leading supplier of woven and care labels in the global apparel industry, PrisymID can supply a wide variety of labels, from swing tickets and self-adhesives to enzyme safe and woven garment labels. With its specialist knowledge and expertise, the company offers a ‘one-stop shop’ for part-printed, finished, woven and blank labels.
The Sri Lankan office ensures PrisymID is ideally located to offer a greater range and speed of services to new and existing customers in the area. As well as supplying bureau printed labels by flexo or thermal transfer overprinting, this regional office can hold stock on the shelf for customers, working to just-in-time manufacturing principles.
