Proceeds of Katherine Harper’s book to benefit flexo education

Bettylyn Krafft, president of The Phoenix Challenge Foundation, has announced the sale of Katherine Harper’s new book – The Longer I Live, The More I Learn – a memoir detailing the trials, tribulations and accomplishments of her life. All proceeds from the book will be contributed to flexographic education through The Phoenix Challenge Foundation.

The successful business woman and co-founder of Harper Corporation of America details her life from early days as a young girl working in her father’s Greek/American restaurant, to her memories of the meaningful spiritual advice given by her Hungarian-Gypsy grandmother. She describes the self-confidence she gained through Dale Carnegie, as well as the near-death experiences she has faced.

Krafft commented: ‘Her achievements have been numerous, including a run for the US Senate in 1986 and the warm-hearted raising of five children. All are part of this perceptive memoir. She was also the first female chairperson of the annual FTA Forum and the first to chair a TAPPI Corrugated Conference. Her multi-faceted life story is full of humor, deep musings and sharp observations. By the end of the book we feel we’ve known Katherine Harper for years.’
