RDP Marathon renamed Drent Goebel North America Inc.

Subsequent to Drent Goebel’s acquisition of the Montreal-based web-press manufacturer RDP Marathon last summer, the company has announced that, effective immediately, RDP Marathon will be known as Drent Goebel North America Inc. 

‘Since the acquisition, the integration process of both companies’ engineering and sales operations has proceeded very smoothly,’ said Rob Teunissen, CEO, Drent Goebel. ‘Both Drent Goebel and RDP customers have embraced the benefits of this acquisition and with a new year upon us, the timing is right to consolidate our image as one group.’

Huib van den Heuvel, technical director for Drent Goebel, has relocated to Montreal and will be president of Drent Goebel North America Inc. where he will manage the USA and Canadian operations. Eric Short, founder of RDP Marathon, and now responsible for North American sales and marketing, will oversee Drent Goebel’s existing sales organization in the USA and Canada.

Drent Goebel specializes in the development, production and worldwide supply of customized web offset printing presses for printers of label and flexible packaging, direct mail, commercial printing and business forms, paperboard, and security documents including banknotes and stamps.
